Resources for US 1100 Resiliency Section Instructors

US 1100 Resiliency Sections are one of the best opportunities we have to support students working to bounce back from academic adversity, and we're honored to support you in any way we can.

Additional B3 Support

Bobcats Bounce Back is constantly evaluating new ways to support students and their supporters. We have a few new tools recently launched or coming soon that we think you'll find interesting:

  • (LIVE) Navigate TXST Hand Raise: This tool allows students to virtually raise their hand about a wide variety of academic related issues. Students will receive a prompt reply with general information related to their concern. Then, within two business days, a B3 staff member reviews the additional comments the student provided in their hand raise and, when appropriate, reaches out to assist the student finding a full resolution to their concern.
  • (COMING SOON) Navigate TXST Early Alerts: This feature will allow staff and faculty to notify B3 that a student does not seem to be on track for success in their course or program based on indicators like attendance, grades, missing assignments, and more. B3 will take those referrals, make personal connection with the student, help them develop a success strategy and connect to the most relevant support services on campus, and close the loop with the referrer. Watch your email for information about this powerful tool planned to launch in Spring 2025!
  • (LIVE) BB Hold: The BB Hold is a non-registration blocking hold that indicates a student has not engaged with a university support service in at least four weeks. This indicator does not necessarily mean that the student is not on track to meet their goals, but it is an indicator that we want to check-in with the student. You can now view the BB hold in the student profile, under categories, in Navigate TXST. Starting in spring 2025, if a student with a BB hold meets with you for a student hours meeting, you can email B3 to have that meeting credited as an academic engagement!

In addition to the above, you can record attendance in Navigate TXST. Doing so will allow B3 to leverage attendance data to prioritize outreach to students who may need it most.

If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to us by emailing bounceback@txstate.edu. We appreciate your hard work supporting TXST students, and look forward to supporting your continued efforts in any ways we can.
