Navigating the Page
The resources are organized alphabetically by course. Scroll down or use the alphabetical tags at the top to jump to your course section. Each course includes various support options such as The Study, Supplemental Instruction, and Tutor.com. Click the links to access these resources.
Understanding the Resources
- Brainfuse – Online tutoring accessible through Canvas, available 24/7 for many subjects.
- Collaborative Learning Center – Located in Ingram Hall #3202, this center provides space for collaboration and academic support.
- Learning Assistants (LA) Program – Supports BIO 1330 & 1331, CHEM 1341 & 1342, PHYS 1335 & 1345, and PHYS 2325, 2326, & 2335. In Fall 2024, the program had 150 LAs and 26 faculty involved. In Spring 2025, 3,725 students enrolled in an LA-supported class (11.7% of undergraduates).
- Math CATS – Tutoring and academic support for MATH courses in a comfortable learning environment.
- Peer Research Coaching – Located in Alkek, research coaches help navigate the library website, assist with narrowing down research topics and finding peer-reviewed sources, manage citations, and more.
- The Study – Located in Alkek, offering peer-to-peer tutoring in a variety of subjects. Ideal for course-specific help.
- Supplemental Instruction – Group study sessions led by a peer who has successfully completed the course. Designed to reinforce material and improve understanding.
- University Writing Center – Located in Academic Services Building North 100, providing support for writing assignments and projects.
