Here’s how you can make the most of the Learning Support Resources Page

Navigating the Page
The resources are organized alphabetically by course. Scroll down or use the alphabetical tags at the top to jump to your course section. Each course includes various support options such as The Study, Supplemental Instruction, and Brainfuse. Click the links to access these resources.

Understanding the Resources

  • Biology Study Center: Located in Supple 250 and 252. Provides tutoring for BIO 1330 (250) and BIO 1331 (252). 
  • Brainfuse: 24/7 online tutoring accessible through Canvas. Offers many subjects.
  • CalCentral: Located in Derrick Hall 226. Enrolled in a Calculus course? They've got you covered! 
  • Chemistry Study Center: Located in Centennial 405. Provides tutoring for select sections of CHEM 1341 and 1342. 
  • Collaborative Learning Center: Located in Ingram Hall #3202. Provides tutoring for many Math, Science, and Engineering courses, as well as a computer lab and spaces for collaboration.
  • COMM Lab: Located in Alkek 304. Students can practice delivering class presentations, 3MT, and academic conference presentations and receive feedback from a COMM Lab coach.  
  • Math CATS: Located in Derrick Hall 238. Provides tutoring and academic support for MATH courses in a comfortable learning environment.
  • Peer Research Coaching: Located in Alkek on the third floor. Research coaches help navigate the library website, assist with narrowing down research topics and finding peer-reviewed sources, manage citations, and more. 
  • Physics Study Center – Located in RFM on the third floor (in the open area across from classroom 3224/office 3227). Provides tutoring for PHYS 1335, 1345, 2325, 2326, & 2335. PHYS majors and minors are also welcome to use this space to study.
  • The Study: Located in Alkek on the fourth floor. Offers peer-to-peer tutoring in a variety of subjects. Ideal for course-specific help.
  • Supplemental Instruction: Locations vary. Provides group study sessions led by a peer who has successfully completed the course. Designed to reinforce material and improve understanding.
  • University Writing Center: Located in Academic Services Building North 100. Provides support for writing assignments and projects.
  • World Languages & Literatures (WLL) Language Lab: Located in Centennial Hall 225. Offers tutoring for beginning and intermediate world language courses.
