First Gen Celebration - Spring 2026

Please join us for an esteemed recognition ceremony in honor of your academic accomplishments. The event is designed to acknowledge and celebrate graduating first-generation students, who have successfully navigated the rigorous academic terrain to reach this significant milestone! Students will be able to walk the stage and receive our signature free First Gen Proud stole to wear at the larger commencement ceremony.

Requirements
- Must be approved to graduate for Spring 2026.
- Must RSVP by Friday, April 17, 2026 to attend the ceremony.

Event Details
When: Saturday, May 9, 2026. 10 a.m. & 2 p.m.
Where: Alkek Teaching Theater

Students unable to attend the First Gen Graduation will have the opportunity to retrieve their stole May 12-14 from 9-4 in Commons Dining Hall. Additional information can be found on our FAQ page.
